at the American Swedish Historical Museum
I will be giving a presentation on Swedish embroidery techniques on woven fabrics and on knitting. Sweden boasts an amazing array of distinguished stitch techniques. Näversöm, yllebroderi, and tvistsöm are just some of the traditional needlecrafts that I will be discussing. The PHiladelphia American Swedish Historical Museum is currently running a fantastic exhibition-

KNITTERS DAY OUT 2018

"Knitters' Day Out" is a fun filled day and a half of classes, shopping, and camaraderie devoted to knitting and fiber arts. It has been held annually since 1986 right across the river from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania at Central Penn College.
Dates : September 28th and 29th, 2018.
I will teaching classes on Bohus Knitting, Dorset Buttons, and Irish Crochet.
